Carolina Panthers (+1) OVER Atlanta Falcons (-1) -- Matt Ryan's dirty birds are a legit team, but the Panthers are sneaking under the radar as a powerful team that can move the ball and stop you with NASTY defense. Don't sleep on Carolina on the road.

Denver Broncos (-9.5) OVER Oakland Raiders (+9.5) --The Broncos offense just has too many weapons for Nnamdi Asomugha to shut down. This is my only home fave pick of the week, but it's SOLID. Joke-land can't hang with anyone this season.

SF 49ers (+10) @ Dallas Cowboys (-10) -- Yep, I guess it's mosly Road Dogs Week here at FootballBettorsGuide. I just can't see the Cowboys staying this far ahead of anybody lately. Remember, you're betting against all that Texas money in this game, that keeps every 'boys line so high they had to keep a hole in the roof of the stadium.

Atlanta dropped a tough game at home vs. Denver last week. One thing this team has been able to do is shake off a loss and come storming back the next week. The Falcons are 3-0 SU and ATS after a loss with a margin of winning of 17 ppg. I expect the Falcons to bring it here, especially given that this game is a huge measuring stick against the 8-2 Panthers. Yes, the Panthers are 8-2, but they have not beaten anyone of significance on the road all season. In their last game against Oakland on the road they were lucky to come away with a win, as they turned the ball over continuously. Atlanta is not Oakland and a similar performance will get the Panthers blown out of the building. Carolina scored just 30 points in their last three road games at Minnesota, Oakland and Tampa Bay. The three-game offensive output is not pretty as the Panthers totalled 705 yards, or just 235 yards per game. The Carolina defense has been stiff, but allows nearly 4 yards per carry on the ground. The Falcons should be able to move the chains, as their running game at home has been unstoppable, producing 160.4 ypg. This is a statement game for the Falcons, and the Panthers have shown vulnerability on the road. I'll grab the Falcons to get it done here.

This is a tough scheduling situation for the Giants as they are coming off five straight wins (SU/ATS) including big games versus the Steelers, Cowboys, and Eagles. New York also has an important divisional game on deck at Washington next week, so the Giants might overlook Arizona. New York qualifies in a negative 33-62 ATS situation which plays against quality road teams on a 3-0 SU/ATS run and the Cardinals remain an underrated team this season with a solid 7-3 SU/ATS record. Arizona has an explosive offensive attack that averages 28.9 points per game and 6.2 yards per play (versus opponents that allow just 23.2 ppg and 5.4 yppl). The Cardinals have been especially strong through the air as they average 70.8% completions and 7.9 yards per pass (versus opponents that allow just 61.9% and 6.6 ypp). The Giants have not faced a passing attack this strong all season. Arizona also matches up well defensively as the Giants are a run-based offense and the Cardinals have a solid rush defense that is allowing just 90 yards per game and only 3.8 yards per carry (versus opponents that average 114 yards and 4.3 ypr).
